Dental

Dental is still a very popular benefit being offered to employees.   Dental can be provided as employer sponsored or as a voluntary product where the employee pays 100% of the premium.  Dental is quite basic in nature and the plan design does not vary much from carrier to carrier.  The typical benefit is 100% for Preventive, 80% for Basic and 50% for Major.  When quoting these products it is important to know how each carrier contract reads regarding the placement of the benefits. The rates can vary dramatically just by moving one benefit from one level to another level.
